I have a feeling Nicole & Patrick’s wedding is going to be one of the best weddings of the year! I first met Nicole and Patrick at past wedding that I photographed for Nick and Nikki. So when they asked me to be their St. Louis wedding photographer I was ecstatic. Their wedding will be held at The Peabody Opera House, which is one of their locations for their St. Louis engagement session.
Photographing inside the Scottrade Center is always a wonderful experience, and this session did not disappoint.
After a brief loop around the Scottrade, they changed their clothes and with Patrick being a big “Car Guy” who could not include one of his sweet rides?
Quick story about their session….
I had a Newborn shoot right before their session, so even though I have photographed Patrick in the past, for some reason I kept calling him James!!! So you may hear Patrick calling me Rufus through out the wedding day. It will be answering to both that day.
Natalie was a blast to work with! We were able to start off the session on a wonderful farm, where we had access to barns, horses, and wonderful lighting. After I work was completed at the barn, we hopped over to Lafayette High School where we took advantage of the soccer field to crank out some amazing shots!
Natalie was absolutely stunning, and with her love for soccer, I knew this shot would be one of my favorites of the year. Also a big thank you to Natalie’s mom for being my “Lighting Technician”. You’re honorary degree from the Kurtis Hall School of Photography will be in the mail soon.
Also, if you are at all interested in becoming a Senior Model for the class of 2015. Please contact me as soon as possible. I love to be your St. Louis Senior Photographer.
When meeting Sara last year, there was an instant click. We had many similarities and even friends that were all tied to the AAU Volleyball. Yes, I did play Volleyball and was actually pretty good about 100 lbs ago, it was fun seeing how we were all tied together in one way or the other.
For their St. Louis engagement session, we actually traveled outside of the city and went to the little town of Collinsville, IL. We stopped at Willoughby Heritage Farm, which provided a wonderful back drop which was exactly what we were looking for. It had barns, tractors, chickens, oh and tire swings (which may have made Brad a little bit woozy).
Back to the Barn and the tractor…
I truly love this shot with Sara & Brad on the tractor. As soon as I saw it, I was immediately drawn to both of their looks.
I wish I could attend their Florida ceremony, but instead I will be ready to rock their Creative session and their reception that will be held in our area. Make sure to check out their personal website HERE.

Well Kim & Mike had a wonderful St. Louis engagement session. Even though we may have cut a little close, with their wedding coming up this weekend, better late than never. When I first met Kim at the St. Louis Bride Wedding show last January at The Chase Park Plaza, I knew right from the start she was going to be an amazing bride that I would love to work with.
“You get out what you put in”
For their St. Louis engagement session Kim & Mike were All In!! We were planning a session in more of a park atmosphere, I do enjoy park engagement sessions as much as any other engagement session, but them Mike happen to see some work of mine from a colleague of his, and decided to push for a little more. We traveled to many of the wonderful structures that St. Louis has to offer, including one of their favorite spots of the out skirts of the new downtown library. We were able to end up at one of the more popular spots on the Illinois side of the river, and were able to enjoy the sunset over our wonderful city. After running all around the downtown area, we were able to finish in the fountains at The Saint Louis City Garden.
I am very excited to be apart of their special day. Their ceremony will be taken place at Central Presbyterian, and the reception at Lumen. Hopefully we will have a wonderful and exciting send-off.
If their wedding day is anything like their St. Louis engagement session, look forward to seeing some Amazing Imagery!!
